RETURNING APRIL 2027
MCHS Annual Symposium: Evidence, Empathy, & Excellence in Dementia Care
We are excited to bring back the MCHS Annual Symposium in partnership with Saint Louis University. This will be a full-day experience of learning, conversation, and connection for anyone looking to expand their knowledge of dementia care. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn directly from experts, engage with colleagues, and gain practical, research-backed strategies they can bring back to their work and everyday lives.
The way we understand and diagnose Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias is changing. New tools are making earlier identification possible, raising important questions about what that can mean for individuals, their families, and the clinicians caring for them.
At last year’s symposium, keynote speaker Dr. Suzanne Schindler, MD, PhD, shared her work on emerging diagnostic tools and bringing new technologies into real-world clinical care. That conversation was just the beginning.
Our 2027 symposium will dive into Early-Stage Dementia, exploring emerging treatments and informed care plans, opportunities to promote quality of life and independence, and approaches that support the complex range of needs for individuals and families.
Registration opens December 2026, with more details on the program, registration, and CEU opportunities coming soon!
