Memory Care Home Solutions Digs in for Their 5th Annual Swing into Spring Event
St. Louis, MO—MCHS is excited to host another spring event May 26th. They will be honoring those who have contributed to the organization’s success this year with a day full of music, games, food, Busch Stadium tours and raffle prizes.
Among the list of honorees are Channel 5’s Pat McGonigle and Brian Musial-Schwarze. McGonigle has spearheaded the issue of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease in Missouri and Musial- Schwarze has been an avid volunteer in honor of his grandfather Stan “The Man” Musial. These two along with MCHS’s other mission champions have connected with members of the community, educating them on how MCHS helps families and people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
Advancement Director Erin Kelley and her team put new emphasis on this year’s event.
“Our cause isn’t just about the care receiver, but about the family as a whole. So we took the steps to make this year’s spring event a family affair,” she said.
This year’s event will feature a kid’s corner, which will have activities for the younger guests and the opportunity to meet Fredbird.
The event will be held on Thursday May 26th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the UMB Champions Club in Ballpark Village. Adult tickets are $35 until Apr. 21, and will be $45 after. Tickets for guests under 21 are $25. Tickets can be purchased via phone at 314-645-6247, via web at www.memorycarehs.
