A. Greig Woodring, CEO – RGA, added to organization’s leadership
Memory Care Home Solutions is proud to announce the addition of A. Greig Woodring as a member of its Advisory Council.
Greig Woodring, CEO – Reinsurance Group of America, Inc. became involved as a mentor and volunteer for the organization in 2007, served as Honorary Chair for the Memories and Melodies event in 2010, and provides steadfast support to the cause.
Greig provided valuable guidance to the organization during a recent $1 million fundraising expansion and capital campaign, strategic planning, purchase and renovation project: culminating with the opening of the group’s first permanent Headquarters and Caregiver Training Environment – located on West Pine in the Central West End. Program Expansion efforts tripled the non-profit’s budget and staff size.
Greig is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mathematics from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. He serves as a director and officer of many RGA subsidiaries. Under his leadership, RGA has grown to become one of the world’s leading life re-insurers, with offices in 27 countries and revenues of $11 billion for the year ending on December 31, 2014.
“We are thrilled to have Greig Woodring join our Advisory Council. Memory Care Home Solutions looks forward to further benefiting from the leadership, vision and business acumen he demonstrated over the last 20 years that brought RGA to be a world-class company and leader in reinsurance.” – Lisa Baron, Founder and Executive Director of Memory Care Home Solutions

About Memory Care Home Solutions
Memory Care Home Solutions is a non-profit organization that exists to extend and improve quality time at home for families caring for loved ones with memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer’s disease. Our professionals train families regarding safety of the living environment, provide strategies for addressing difficult behaviors, and offer suggestions for maintaining appropriate levels of independence, with the ultimate goal of reducing caregiver stress. We come to each family; no diagnosis is necessary for our consultation; and services are made available to everyone at no cost to all who use our programs, regardless of income. To ensure families continue to benefit after our initial consultation, we schedule follow-up phone conferences throughout the year, and our professionals are always available to discuss concerns family caregivers may have. Our newly expanded services include Memory Care PLUS – which allows families to receive four Occupational Therapy visits. Founded in 2002, and later funded with a generous grant from the Missouri Foundation for Health, Memory Care Home Solutions fills a critical in-home support and training void for caregivers. Washington University in St. Louis collaborates with the organization to evaluate outcome success.
